Squats are among the most effective exercises for toning thighs, glutes and abdominals. Starting position : Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart, feet turned slightly outwards. Stretch your arms out in front of you and, if you like, interlace your fingers.
The movement : Bend your knees and push your buttocks backwards. Come down low enough so that your thighs are parallel to the floor. Then return to the starting position before repeating the movement.
⚠️ Important:
Before the exercise, you should do dynamic warm-ups such as lunges, hip extensions and joint rotations to reduce the risk of injury.
During exercise, make sure you keep your body weight on your heels, not on the front of your feet. Keep your back straight throughout to avoid injury.
