Squats are among the most effective exercises for toning the thighs , glutes and abs. Starting position : Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart with your feet slightly turned outward. Stretch your arms out in front of you and, if desired, interlace your fingers.

The movement : Bend your knees and push your glutes back. Go low enough so that your thighs are parallel to the floor. Then return to the starting position before repeating the movement.

⚠️ Important:

Before exercising, you should do dynamic warm-ups such as lunges, hip extensions, and joint rotations to reduce the risk of injury.

During the exercise, make sure to keep your body weight on the heels , not the balls of the feet. Also keep your back straight throughout the movement to avoid injury.
